If your video is an attachment in the WordPress database, you can choose to display a View Count below the video. By default both play start and video complete events will be recorded in your WordPress database. If you want more granular data you can record 25%, 50%, and 75% as well. If you have a lot of traffic on your site that might be too much for your database to handle. All local view counting can be disabled in the plugin settings as well.
If you have Google Analytics already running on your page, the plugin will automatically send Google Analytics Events when users start, reach 25%, 50%, 75%, and complete watching your videos.
